When he joined Manorang Foundation, his journey toward transformation began. Understanding his need for structured engagement, Manorang introduced him to table tennis, not just as a sport, but as a therapeutic tool to help him interact, focus, and channel his energy positively.

The results were remarkable. Over time, Shashank developed social skills, gained self-discipline, and mastered the game. His dedication led him to state and national-level table tennis championships, where he emerged as a prize-winning player. His hard work and resilience have now earned him a nomination to represent India at the 2027 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Chile.

From a boy who once struggled with aggression and isolation to an athlete preparing to play for the nation, Shashank’s story proves that with the right support, challenges can turn into victories.
